This easy traybake will leave you wanting more every time.

  • 125g unsalted butter
  • 200g white chocolate
  • 50g light muscovado sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 130g plain flour
  • pinch of salt
  • 120g strawberries
  • 100g macadamia nuts (optional)
  1. Preheat the oven to 180c and line a traybake tin with greaseproof paper.
  2. In a pan melt the butter and cook on a low heat for 5 mins until it starts to turn golden. Pour into a cold bowl and add half of the white chocolate, stirring until melted.
  3. In a separate bowl, whisk together the eggs and sugar until they are thick and golden. Tip in the flour adding a pinch of salt and the melted white chocolate mixture. Fold together till smooth.
  4. Tip in the strawberries, optional nuts and the remaining chopped white chocolate. Fold the mixture together, place in tin and bake for 30 mins, or until golden.
  5. They are finished once they are lightly golden on top and a little squidgy inside. Allow to cool in the tin and cut into squares.
